About This Song
About "The Departure" by Lavinia Meijer
The Departure' moves with the hush of snowfall—Meijer's harp tracing delicate, descending figures that feel like footsteps leaving fresh tracks. There's a profound quiet here, but it's not peaceful; it's the held breath before goodbye, beauty and sorrow locked in a fragile embrace.
