About This Song
About "A Very True story" by Chris Kenner
Kenner spins a wry, shuffling R&B yarn, his voice a knowing wink over a loping backbeat. The title promises truth, but the groove suggests a tall tale told with a grin—calm delivery masking mischievous unease, like a raconteur who knows you know he's embellishing.
