About "Doxandeme" by Cheikh Lô
The title 'Doxandeme' suggests a whispered confidence, and the song moves like a secret passed hand to hand. Cheikh Lô's voice rides a skeletal groove, percussion clicking like distant footsteps on dry earth—a fragile calm masking a restless undertow, intimacy edged with unease.
