About "Baby, It's You" by Bruce Channel
Bruce Channel's 1962 hit is a sun-dappled slice of pop-soul, all harmonica swagger and boyish charm. The song's easy groove masks a tender plea—a gentle insistence that cuts through the din. It's the sound of a smile hiding a nervous heart, bright and buoyant yet achingly sincere.
