About This Song
About "Jolivet: Trumpet Concerto No. 2: III. Giocoso" by André Jolivet
Giocoso, yes—but this trumpet finale is a grin with a wild edge. Jolivet sends the soloist careening through bright, acrobatic lines while the orchestra pulses with jazzy, off-kilter energy. It's joyful, but restless, like a festival parade that might suddenly veer into the unknown.
