About This Song
About "Jananeh" by Bahramji
On 'Jananeh,' Bahramji conjures a ghostly dialogue between the heart and the beloved. A sparse, dub-inflected rhythm provides the floor while Persian strings and whispered vocals drift above. It's a meditation on separation, where longing is both a wound and a form of prayer.
