About "Spirit Of The Boogie" by Alicia Myers
Boogie as a spiritual practice: Myers rides a rubbery bassline and handclaps into a euphoric, pre-house reverie. The spirit isn't ethereal—it's sweaty, communal, and relentlessly rhythmic. A dancefloor sermon where the congregation moves as one, bodies blurring into pure motion.
