About "Piano Quintet, Op. 18: I. Moderato con moto" by Borodin Quartet
The opening Moderato con moto of this Piano Quintet is a slow unfurling—a door creaking open onto a room full of memories. The Borodin Quartet and pianist balance warmth with unease, each phrase a step into uncertain light. It's music that doesn't declare, but suggests, leaving the listener to fill the silence.
