About "I Quote Myself" by Autarkic
I Quote Myself' is a hall of mirrors—post-punk funk refracted through a narcissist's diary. The bassline struts with self-satisfaction while the vocals echo like a man arguing with his own ghost. Witty, wiry, and deeply uneasy about its own reflection.
