About "Deep Channel" by Afro Celt Sound System
Bass plunges like a sonar pulse through black water. 'Deep Channel' is Afro Celt Sound System at their most submerged: tabla ripples over dubby echo, while a lone whistle cuts the murk. The tension is between pressure and release—a body sinking, then remembering it can swim.
