About This Song
About "Maggot Brain / Chant (Think! It Ain`t Illegal Yet!) (2015 Remaster - Live)" by Funkadelic
Funkadelic's live 'Maggot Brain / Chant' is a sprawling, psychedelic sermon. The guitar solo weeps and wails over a hypnotic groove, while the chant 'Think! It ain't illegal yet!' crackles with revolutionary unease. It's a calm groove slowly infected by cosmic dread and defiant joy.
