About This Song
About "Rosina" by Damaso Perez Prado
Rosina arrives in a swirl of brass and congas, a mambo portrait both elegant and electric. Pérez Prado paints her with syncopated brushstrokes, the melody gliding over a rhythm that feels like a heartbeat quickening toward an unspoken goodbye.
