About "Taking over Me (Tiger Stripes Remix)" by Cera Alba
Tiger Stripes’ remix of 'Taking over Me' is a slow-burning house cut, all clipped percussion and a vocal that hovers like a warning. The groove is hypnotic, but there’s a tension in the low end—a sense that surrender is both inevitable and slightly dangerous, the dancefloor as a site of quiet possession.
