About This Song
About "Open Mouth Surgery (Dr. Young's Groove)" by Chris Joss
A surgical funk instrumental: Joss slices in with clavinet stabs and a groove that drills deep. The title's medical pun meets a blaxploitation swagger, creating a strange, clinical euphoria. It's a dance floor operation, precise and a little dangerous.
