About This Song
About "Hold Tight" by Cecil Payne
The title is an instruction, and Payne obeys with muscular grace. His baritone grips the melody tight, refusing to let go, while the rhythm section pushes and pulls. It's a dance of controlled urgency—the thrill of holding on when everything wants to spin away.
