About "Cold Cold Heart - Alternate Version (1)" by Barbara Pittman
This alternate version of 'Cold Cold Heart' trades the original's torch-song sorrow for a rockabilly shuffle. Pittman's delivery is less mournful than matter-of-fact, as if she's already accepted the frost. The guitar's twang becomes a shiver down the spine—familiar, but no less chilling.
