About This Song
About "Le Désert, Deuxième partie: La liberté au désert" by Accentus
David's 'La liberté au désert' turns the desert into a paradox: a prison that promises release. Accentus shapes the choral writing with restrained fervor, the harmonies opening like a horizon at noon. The tension between confinement and liberation hums beneath every cadence—a mirage of freedom.
