About This Song
About "Gettin' Mighty Crowded - Original" by Betty Everett
A brassy, up-tempo stomper that hides its anxious heart beneath a dancefloor sheen. Everett's narrator is 'gettin' mighty crowded'—emotionally claustrophobic, hemmed in by a lover's demands—but the groove is so infectious you might miss the panic. It's a party you want to escape but can't stop dancing to.
