About This Song
About "Winter" by Chip Wickham
Wickham conjures frost with a single sustained note. 'Winter' is hushed, modal jazz—icy keys and a brushed drum pulse that evoke bare branches against a grey sky. There's warmth buried in the chill, a quiet resilience that keeps the cold from becoming bleak.
