About "Folklore" by Vincent Herring
A title like 'Folklore' promises old stories, but Herring delivers modern jazz lore: sleek, soulful, and unhurried. The groove is a warm hearth, yet a minor phrase flickers like a shadow at the edge of the fire. Mellow Soul indeed—but with a knowing glance.
