About This Song
About "Rise Above It" by Afro Celt Sound System
A rallying cry built from pipes, tablas, and a bassline that struts. 'Rise Above It' is Afro Celt Sound System at their most anthemic, but the uplift carries a shadow: the groove pushes upward while a minor-key drone pulls down. Triumph and struggle share the same pulse.
