About "Mendelssohn: On Wings of Song, Op. 34 No. 2 (Arr. Parkin for Violin & Chamber Ensemble)" by Christian Li
Mendelssohn's soaring melody becomes a violin's flight. Christian Li's arrangement for chamber ensemble lends wings to the song, each phrase lifting with delicate grace. The tension is between the ethereal and the grounded—a bird's arc, beautiful and fleeting, caught in the amber of Parkin's sensitive orchestration.
