About This Song
About "Siren Sounds Waltz: II. Waltz No. 1" by Alma Deutscher
The first waltz opens with a guileless lilt, as if spun from a music box. Yet Deutscher threads chromatic unease beneath the sway, turning a childlike refrain into something quietly uncanny—a nursery rhyme whistled in an empty corridor, lovely and faintly unsettling.
