About "Shake, Rattle & Roll (Live 1954 Performance from Rhythm & Blues Revue)" by Big Joe Turner
Captured live in 1954, this 'Shake, Rattle & Roll' crackles with crowd heat and loose-limbed brass. Turner ad-libs like a ringmaster, the performance a sweaty, joyful explosion where the boundary between bandstand and dance floor dissolves into pure, unbridled release.
