About "Horn Concerto No. 2 in E-Flat Major, K. 417 : Mozart: Horn Concerto No. 2 in E-Flat Major, K. 417: 2. Andante" by Barry Tuckwell
Mozart's Second Horn Concerto Andante is a study in poised longing. Tuckwell's horn floats above the strings, a solitary cloud in a clear sky. The calm is exquisite, but listen closely: beneath it, a gentle, persistent tug of yearning.
