About "Les Troyens / Act 1 : Les Troyens / Act 1: No. 6 Pantomime: "Andromaque et son fils!"" by Choeur De L'Orchestre Symphonique De Montréal
The Pantomime from 'Les Troyens' paints Andromaque and her son in hushed, processional tones—a tableau of grief frozen mid-step. Berlioz’s orchestration moves like ceremonial shadow, the choir’s presence felt more as atmosphere than utterance. It’s stately and wounded, a silent drama where loss is the only choreography.
