About This Song
About "Après un rêve" by Christian Pierre La Marca
Fauré's Après un rêve is a waking ache, and La Marca's cello captures its fragile threshold. The melody shimmers like a dream dissolving at dawn—tender, luminous, then pierced by the sorrow of return. Beauty and melancholy entwine, a sigh caught between sleep and morning.
