About This Song
About "Ascending" by Fideles
'Ascending' is a masterclass in tension and release. Fideles layers a rising, ethereal synth line over a driving, tribal beat, creating a sense of upward flight. The breakdown is a breathless pause before the drop, a moment of weightlessness before the inevitable, euphoric descent.
