About "Vivaldi: Gloria in D Major, RV 589: II. Et in terra pax hominibus" by Andrew Parrott
Vivaldi's 'Et in terra pax' unfurls in hushed, overlapping lines, a plea for peace that trembles with unspoken anxiety. Parrott balances celestial serenity against a faint, human quaver—harmony as fragile as a held breath.
