About "The Summer Is Coming" by Barry Douglas
Douglas paints summer’s arrival not as blaze but as hesitant bloom—a melody that stretches like a cat in a sunbeam, yet carries a sotto voce chill. The piano’s bright upper register feels like light through leaves, with autumn already whispering underneath.
