About "Missa in A Major, BWV 234 : Christe eleison" by Cantus Cölln
The 'Christe eleison' from Bach's A Major Missa glows with a strange, suspended beauty. Voices intertwine like smoke rising in a still room, each 'eleison' a soft collision of hope and awe. Cantus Cölln draw out the harmonic warmth without ever letting the tension slacken.
