About "No Laughing Matter/ So Long As (No Laughing Matter LP '84)" by Anti System
The title track from Anti-System's 1984 LP, 'No Laughing Matter/ So Long As' is a furious hardcore punk statement. It juxtaposes the gravity of political struggle with a resigned 'so long as,' creating a tension between urgency and weary acceptance, all delivered with breakneck intensity.
