About This Song
About "Flute Concerto No. 6 in D Major: I. Allegro" by Andras Adorjan
A bright, courtly flourish opens this D-major concerto, the flute a herald in powdered wig. Adorjan keeps the allegro buoyant, each phrase a polite bow that barely conceals a mischievous grin. The tension is all in the tempo: elegance held just this side of breathless.
