About "Vecsey: Valse Triste" by Arthur Grumiaux
Vecsey's Valse Triste is a ghost waltz—Grumiaux spins a melody of bittersweet nostalgia, each phrase a faded photograph. The three-quarter time sways between elegance and sorrow, a tension between the dance's outward grace and an inner, quiet grief.
