About "Rameau: La poule, RCT 6/12 (Recording 2021)" by Bruce Liu
Rameau's 'La poule' clucks with Baroque wit, but Liu finds the barnyard's dark humor. The piano pecks and struts, a hen with a secret. It's charming until you sense the frantic energy of a bird that knows the fox is near.
