About "Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit, Cantata BWV 106 : J.S. Bach: Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit, Cantata BWV 106 - 2a. Chor: Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit" by Ann Monoyios
Bach’s funeral motet opens with a chorus of tolling gravity, Monoyios’s soprano threading light through the dense counterpoint. The title’s claim—God’s time is best—lands not as comfort but as a cold, shimmering edict, calm and unease locked in a single breath.
