About "Gonna Get Over You" by Beverlei Brown
The original finds Brown in a quiet storm of resolve. A skeletal R&B groove frames her declaration like a letter slipped under a door—calm on the surface, but the bassline betrays a restless heartbeat, aching to break free from a love that's run its course.
