About This Song
About "Je te veux" by Christian Pierre La Marca
Satie's Je te veux is a cabaret valentine, but La Marca's cello turns it into a smoky confession. The tune sways with nostalgic charm, yet beneath the waltz's ease runs a current of yearning—a desire that smiles while knowing it arrives too late.
