About "Dansakoni" by Peter Power
Dansakoni pulses like a heart under the floorboards. Peter Power's Afro Damba is a ritual of loops and shadows, the groove both invitation and warning. The rhythm is a snake charmer's flute, sweet and hypnotic, while the bassline coils in the dark, ready to strike.
