About "Suite No. 1 in D Minor: No. 20, Les folies d'Espagne (Arr. for Solo Cello - Pièces de viole, Livre II)" by Christian Pierre La Marca
Marais's Les folies d'Espagne is a solo cello labyrinth, La Marca tracing variations with Baroque precision and wild invention. The theme repeats like a haunting, each turn more ornate, more restless. It's a dance of obsession—elegant, feverish, and quietly unhinged, the cello both architect and prisoner of its own spell.
