About This Song

About "Schubert: Piano Quintet in A Major, Op. Posth. 114, D. 667 "The Trout": II. Andante" by Alban Berg Quartett

The Andante is a hushed interlude, a moment of stillness where the trout's river runs deep and dark. The Alban Berg Quartett teases out the movement's quiet melancholy, the piano's gentle ripple against strings that seem to hold their breath—a study in restraint that lingers long after the final chord.
