About This Song
About "Primos" by Adrian Quesada
A cumbia rhythm refracted through a psychedelic prism, 'Primos' sways with cousinly familiarity and a hint of mischief. Quesada layers woozy organ over a steady gait, the warmth of kinship shadowed by a restless, nocturnal unease. It’s a family dance held under a flickering streetlamp.
