About This Song
About "Alcina, Act 3 - Non è amor, nè gelosia" by Anja Harteros
From Alcina’s third act, Harteros delivers ‘Non è amor, nè gelosia’ with a burnished, ironic edge. The aria’s baroque filigree coils like smoke around a dying fire—love and jealousy dismissed with a shrug. The calm is deceptive, a porcelain mask over emotional wreckage.
