About This Song
About "La prière" by David Alexandre Winter
'La prière' finds Winter in devotional mode, but the prayer is less plea than meditation. The melody kneels without collapsing, a candle flame in a drafty church. It's the tension between supplication and surrender, rendered with a soft, unwavering voice.
