About "Kentucky Bluebird" by The Creekers
The Creekers' 'Kentucky Bluebird' flutters with Appalachian warmth, its acoustic guitar and harmonica evoking a front-porch reverie. But the bluebird's song carries a thread of melancholy, a tension between the freedom of flight and the pull of home.
