About "Fade 2 Black" by Cherine Anderson
A fade to black that feels like a slow exhale, Cherine Anderson strips the reggae rhythm to a skeletal pulse. The song is a dimming room, each note a switch turned off. Its unease is the silence between beats—what's left when the light goes.
