About "Sanctus" by Afro Celt Sound System
Sacred chant meets programmed beat: 'Sanctus' lifts a Latin hymn into a cathedral of echo and delay. Afro Celt Sound System turn reverence into rhythm, the holy and the hedonistic locked in a slow, hypnotic embrace. Awe flickers into unease as the groove refuses to kneel.
