About This Song
About "Keep On Smilin'" by Charles & Eddie
'Keep On Smilin'' is a sun-drenched paradox: the melody beams, but the lyric's ache lingers underneath. Charles & Eddie wrap a bittersweet plea in warm harmonies and easy funk, like a smile that's just a little too tight. The tension is between the grin and the grief.
