About This Song
About "Flute Sonata, Op. 167 "Undine": I. Allegro" by Andras Adorjan
The water sprite Undine rises from a rippling flute line, all shimmer and spray. Adorjan's allegro is a chase through riverweed, the piano's arpeggios glinting like sun on wet stone. There's a restless joy here, but also the undertow of a creature who cannot stay on land.
