About "Ptah, The El Daoud" by Alice Coltrane
'Ptah, The El Daoud' is a monumental spiritual jazz piece, Alice Coltrane and Pharoah Sanders locked in fiery dialogue. The title's ancient god of creation animates every note—tension crackles between piano and sax, building a cathedral of sound that is both reverent and wildly alive.
